Shakti Mat is just being introduced into the United States and there are only a few retail outlets at the moment. We will soon have all retail outlets listed on the website. For now, it is best to order is online.
How long will it take my Shakti Mat™ to arrive?
It takes about 24 hours for our credit card transactions to clear. Once approved, your order is shipped from our warehouse in Chicago by UPS ground shipment, which takes 2-5 business days. Holidays predictably slow up deliveries.

Is it okay to fall asleep on the Shakti Mat™?
Yes, many people fall asleep while using their Shakti Mat. It will not harm you to stay on the mat for extended periods of time.
Will it hurt my skin to lie on the Shakti Mat™?
There have been no reports of the spikes puncturing the skin or causing irritation. Some people with sensitive skin find they need to place a thin cloth over the mat at first. Since the mat stimulates blood circulation, it will cause the skin to flush and leave a ‘prickly’ pattern on the skin exposed to the mat for a short period after usage.
Do I have to take off my clothes to use the Shakti Mat™?
Ideally, you will want to expose your skin to the spikes of the Shakti Mat for maximum benefit. If you remain clothed, we suggest you wear loose, thin clothing for the best possible results.
Is it okay to cover up while using the Shakti Mat™?
Yes, covering yourself with a light blanket is fine. Keep in mind that your body will heat up as your circulation increases. Heat is good.
Are there any other colors available™?
At the moment the regular Shakti Mats are only available in green and orange and the Shakti Light is available in blue. We plan to introduce more colors in 2010.
How do I wash my Shakti Mat™?
Hand wash only with a mild detergent and hang to dry. Do not place into washing machine or clothes dryer, this may damage the plastic points.
